Turku and Naantali ports are Finland’s leading port entity in terms of cargo transportation.

The Port of Turku specialises in lorries and trailers. There are regular liner traffic departures to almost 20 ports in Europe. The most heavily trafficked route between Turku and Stockholm offers ten departures a day.

The Port of Naantali, which has experienced rapid growth, is a major industrial port. Whilst it has a long reputation as a bulk cargo port in particular, in recent years vehicle traffic has also increased.

Over half of the lorry and trailer traffic between Sweden and Finland by boat passes through the Port of Naantali, with the fastest crossing to Kapellskär in Sweden taking under eight hours.
