In the Turku region, top professionals graduate at all educational levels, from basic vocational training to university. There are approximately 28,000 students in total.

The University of Turku and the Swedish language Åbo Akademi offer diverse possibilities for international university education.





Turku University of Applied Sciences and Novia University of Applied Sciences produce approximately 1,700 graduates per year. The graduates are experts in a variety of different fields, the majority of whom find employment in Southwest Finland.

In addition to the higher education institutions, there are 13 vocational schools and institutes in the region.
